Hand held ultrasonic flaw detector, plus set of ultrasonic tranducers and special rail scanning device.

Perform secondary testing of previously laid track.

Use for follow up of mechanized testing and spot checks.

Perform pre-weld inspections of rail ends.

Perform tests following new welds.
