Railway Surveying Prism Track Gauge:

Offers rail surveyors the functionality of a standard track gauge coupled with the facility to mount surveying prisms in line with the gauge face of the running rails.

Constructed from hard-wearing GRP and Nylon, the Prism Track Gauge is electrically non-conductive, making it suitable for use in areas of 3rd and 4th rail electrification.

Features:

Running Gauge readings are displayed on an easy to read scale, positioned on the top of the gauge.
Super-Elevation (Cant) is measured at the touch of a button, with the reading shown on an LCD display.
The Prism Gauge is available complete with standard fixing threads for the attachment of surveying prisms.

The prisms, when affixed to the gauge are in the same plane as the gauge face of the rails meaning that accurate track position surveying can be achieved when using the gauge in conjunction with a total station.
