Simplex mechanical pullers/expanders are easily used by one man for crossing and switch lining, renewing insulated joints and end posts.

Rated at 30 tons, the Simplex 550A incorporates a square socket design for use with 1.5″ /38.1mm square X 66″ / 1676.4mm long standard railroad lining bar.

Service interruptions are not necessary.

The alloy-steel, heat treated U-bar is designed to precisely fit the rail web, so that when the lever socket is locked down, nothing protrudes above the rail which could endanger active service.
