This Norton Abrasive Stone is 2” x 3” x 5/8″ with an 11-threaded arbor hole. Also known as a Bull Nose Grinding Stone, this abrasive plug is used for deburring bolt holes after drilling a hole in rail. It is designed to smooth rigid drilled holes and rail flaws to reduce the likelihood of rail cracking. It possesses a durable layer of abrasive material that will grind and smooth drilled rail holes quickly and efficiently. Type 18R abrasive plug with a round tip.

This bull nose grinding stone/abrasive plug by Norton has an 11-threaded arbor hole to ensure a proper hold when attached to a drill bit, hydraulic grinder or other power tool. This abrasive plug is perfect for small areas like rail holes and inside castings where larger grinding stones are not suitable. Works well on steel, steel alloys and irons.

This abrasive grinding plug is rated for speeds of up to 18145 RPM. Do not overspeed the plug, for there is risk of potential safety hazard in doing so. To protect yourself and your crew, always use a guard and appropriate PPE when using any abrasive plug.
